Subject: The Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research will hold the "Southern Taiwan Model Enterprise Multi-Workshop – Corporate Resilience" events on September 12, October 31, and November 28, 2025, respectively in Kaohsiung, Yunlin, and Chiayi. We sincerely invite your participation and kindly request your assistance in sharing this information with enterprises in the park, member companies, and departments on campus to encourage registration.

Details:

  1. To implement the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ 2025 project, “Analysis of Domestic and International Economic Trends and Economic Dynamics in Southern Taiwan”, the Institution is organizing these workshops. The goal is to help enterprises and academia in Southern Taiwan better grasp development trends, strengthen resilience in response to domestic and international changes, and promote experience exchange and information sharing among industry, government, academia, and research sectors.

  2. Kaohsiung Session (September 12, 9:30 a.m.):

    • Venue: Gao Chuan Cun Enterprise Co., Ltd., located in Hefa Industrial Park.

    • Morning: Two keynote lectures:

      • “Net Zero Carbon Emissions × Corporate Resilience”

      • “Circular Economy + Virtual Power Plants — A Dual Approach in Materials and Energy”

    • Afternoon: Enterprise presentation by Gao Chuan Cun Enterprise Co., Ltd., followed by a company visit.

  3. Yunlin Session (October 31, 10:00 a.m.):

    • Venue: Taiwan Tilapia Ecological Creative Park.

    • Morning: Guided tour and visit of the Park.

    • Afternoon: Two keynote lectures:

      • “New Industrial Opportunities Under Climate Change”

      • “Resilient Circulation — Breakthrough Strategies for SMEs’ Ecosystems”

  4. Chiayi Session (November 28, 10:00 a.m.):

    • Venue: Ching Seng Tong Cosmetics Co., Ltd.

    • Morning: Enterprise presentation and company visit by Ching Seng Tong Cosmetics Co., Ltd.

    • Afternoon: Two keynote lectures:

      • “How Aesthetics Differentiate Product Design”

      • “A New Era of IT and OT Collaboration — Smart Defense × Resilient Coexistence”

  5. Please see the attachment for the detailed agenda. The events are free of charge (meals included). Shuttle bus service will be provided, but seats are limited. Online registration is open from now until three days before each event. Early registration is recommended.
