Subject: Course Information on "ISO 50001 Energy Management System and Practical Energy Management" Co-organized by National Taipei University of Technology and TÜV Rheinland Taiwan – Invitation for Faculty Participation and Announcement Assistance

Description:

  1. In accordance with Article 26, Paragraph 1 of the Technical and Vocational Education Act, which stipulates: “Teachers of professional or technical subjects at technical and vocational institutions, or professional and technical personnel or teachers, shall undergo at least six months of training or research in industries related to their field of instruction every six years,” this course is organized as part of practical training for faculty members.

  2. To assist enterprises in effectively promoting energy saving and carbon reduction, thereby achieving improved energy efficiency and sustainable operations, this course will provide a comprehensive introduction to the core structure and implementation practices of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System. It will include practical case studies to help participants understand strategies and operational methods for energy management. Course topics include the fundamentals of corporate energy management, common energy-saving technologies, system structure and implementation processes, as well as audits and practical applications. Through case analysis and hands-on exercises, the course aims to enhance participants’ practical capabilities and help enterprises effectively establish and operate an energy management system. A certification exam for the "ISO 50001 Internal Energy Auditor" will be held on-site after the course. Interested in-service faculty members are welcome to register.

  3. Eligibility: In-service teachers from domestic universities of technology and vocational high schools.

  4. Course Schedule: July 28 (Monday) and July 29 (Tuesday), 2025 – a total of 2 days. Participants who attend the entire course and meet the eligibility requirements will receive an electronic certificate of training hours after the course.

  5. Venue: International Conference Hall, 9th Floor, Administration Building, National Taipei University of Technology.

  6. Participant Limit: 100 participants for in-person attendance (free of charge).

  7. Registration Period: From now until 5:00 PM, July 23, 2025 (Wednesday). Registration will close earlier if capacity is reached.

  9. Certification Exam and Payment Link: A registration fee of NT$2,000 is required for those taking the "ISO 50001 Internal Energy Auditor" certification exam. Participants may choose to register for the exam; the course itself is free of charge for all.
