Subject: Invitation for Faculty Members to Participate in the 2025 Professional Training Courses on Metal Industry Technologies — Jointly Organized by the Executive Office of the MOE Industry-Academia Collaboration Talent Cultivation Platform at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology and the Taiwan Steel and Iron Industries Association

Description:

  1. To assist technical and vocational education faculty in enhancing their understanding of the current status and development of the steel and metal industries, this initiative aims to promote knowledge exchange and discussions between educators and industry professionals through expert-led sessions. The goal is to equip teachers with up-to-date industrial practices to better prepare future talent and enrich teaching content.

  2. Course Information:

    • Course 1: Nondestructive Testing Technologies and Practices in the Steel Industry (In-person + Live Online)

      1. Date: Friday, June 27, 2025, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

      2. Registration Opens: Friday, June 13, 2025, at 9:00 AM

    • Course 2: ESG Corporate Sustainability Practices and Strategies (In-person + Live Online)

      1. Date: Wednesday, July 16, 2025, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

      2. Registration Opens: Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM

    • Course 3: Green Transition in Steel: Key Insights into Hydrogen Metallurgy (In-person + Live Online)

      1. Date: Wednesday, August 27, 2025, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

      2. Registration Opens: Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 9:00 AM

  4. Faculty attending in-person sessions may use this official letter as the basis for administrative leave. If teaching obligations conflict, we kindly ask for assistance with substitute arrangements.
