The program aims to assist Taiwan's industries in leveraging design for transformation and upgrading. Commissioned by the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and executed by the Taiwan Design Research Institute, the "Industrial Design-Driven Innovation" (IDDI) initiative targets "design service industries" and "manufacturing industries." It offers two application categories: "Enhancing Design Service Capabilities" and "Innovation Value Addition through Design Implementation."
The 2025 "IDDI Design-Driven Industrial Innovation" application guidelines have been announced on the IDDI official website. Interested businesses must upload the required application materials to the online submission platform (https://tdri.surveycake.biz/s/eL23a) by the application deadline, 5:00 PM, February 26, 2025 (Wednesday). To help applicants better understand the program, an online briefing session titled "IDDI Design Cube x Point | 2025 IDDI Design-Driven Industrial Innovation Subsidy" will be held on January 14, 2025 (Tuesday), from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
